Cannock Chase Clinical Alliance Ltd was originally formed in June 2018 as part of the Prime Minsters Fund Initiative to operate the contract for the management and provision of Extended Access Services on behalf of the 21 GP Practices covering a population of over 140,000 patients.
Our Board is made up of five local GP Partners appointed by our Stakeholders for their experience, expertise and drive who are committed to maintaining and developing new models of care within Primary Care by managing contracts and services at scale to provide better services for patients, in the right place at the right time, to meet the needs of the local population
Our wider team consists of a wide range of experienced local clinicians ranging from GPs, Advanced Clinical and Nurse Practitioners and Clinical Pharmacists and we now have over 100 locums on our bank.
Since 2018, the Alliance has grown considerably and in addition to the Extended Access Service is also commissioned for the
- Management and provision of the Covid-19 Hot Hub and Oxi@Home Service covering 43 Practices within Cannock and Surrounds, Seisdon and Burntwood;
- Staying Well at Home Service covering 25 Practices within Cannock and Surrounds;
- COVID Vaccination Programme for 10 GP Practices within Cannock North and Rugeley Neighbourhood 2 Primary Care Networks.
